In Keeping with tradition...

We went to Fred Meyer to buy our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We have done this since we were first married. Hopefully soon we will go to a tree farm instead of Fred Meyer. The kids love the tree. It was fun to decorate it with them. Now the challenge is to keep the ornments on the tree. We tried to get a picture of just the boys but, they would not sit still. So, we each had to sit with the boys to get a picture.

Thanksgiving

This year it was just the 5 of us (6 if you include baby in tummy). We played pin the hat on the turkey. You can see in the picture that we are deciding on a color to paint the kitchen wall. We also made "Turkey Cupcakes". We had a great day!!!

Christmas card picture attempts

We are attempting to take an outside family picture for Christmas cards... however, as you can see it is difficult with 3 little ones and living in the NW. It gets dark early up here. The first two were at 1:30 in the afternoon so the light was great but, Ethan was a bit cranky and we didn't have someone to take a picture of all of us. The bottom pictures we tried to have Ali take of us but it was 4:30 pm and it was getting dark so they look like it is 7 pm... a little too dark. I am hoping to get a Christmas picture soon so that we can send out cards before we leave for MO. Hopefully that actually happens. We will keep attempting.

Placenta Position

I got a call from the doctors office yesterday that everything on the ultrasound looks fine except they told me I have a "low lying placenta". It generally corrects itself by 28 weeks. However, if it does not could be dangerous to myself and possibly baby. And if it is still low lying at 28 weeks it is called placenta previa and it would require a c-section (close to the due date). Please pray that the placenta position would change and that there would be no bleeding (that is dangerous with this placenta position). Thank you friends for your prayers!!!

Micah's studio Pics

We haven't been the greatest about keeping up on the boys picture so it has been 2 years since Micah had his last studio pictures. Here they are. We think that they turned out really well (we are a little bias). It's hard to believe that he is 4 already.

Halloween

Halloween this year we went to the Johnson's house to help them with their cider stand. Each year instead of doing a Harvest Party our church host cider stands throughout our community. We feel is is an opportunity to serve and share Christ. Since it is the one time of the year people come knocking on our doors. Our kids dressed up and went trick-or-treating in the Johnson's neighborhood along with the Johnson girls, the Johnson's cousins, the Lloyd's 8 kids, and the Cecesarini girls came along to help.
At the end of the post are picture from Lucas' class pizza part on the 29th.
We had a very difficult time getting picture of the kids this year... oh well... what are you going to do.
This is the only picture we got of all 3 looking at the camera

Here's Ethan the pumpkin man as Micah called him.

Micah shooting spider webs.

Lucas as Superman.

This is the group of kids that went trick-or-treating together. Can you imagine all of them showing up at your door at once?

Some of the kids from Lucas' class that were at the pizza party.

Lucas and his good pal Hayden. They were in the same class last year.
