The Placenta has moved

We had our follow-up ultra-sound yesterday and got the results from the doctor today that my placenta has moved up. This is great news because I will not need to have a scheduled c-section. We are very thankful for this. Thanks to all who prayed for us. We really appreciate it. So no it is 11 weeks until she is due. They did also confirm that we are having a little girl. That was great news too!!!

More snow

The big boys were finally able to use the snow pants that I bought for them before our trip to Missouri. Since we missed most of the big storm here and there was no snow in Missouri while we were there they were able to use their snow pants for the first time. They had a blast playing in the snow. Lucas & Micah went out in the snow twice yesterday (once was while Ethan was napping). Then after playing in the snow they had hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies.

Baby Update

I saw my doctor today and all is well baby is doing great. It was the oh so fun glucose test... those drinks are not my favorite...it could be worse. I have my next ultrasound schedule for next Monday. It will determine if my placenta has move thus determining c-section or not. All is in the hands of the Lord and were not worried. I am thankful for modern medicine that they can check for these kinds of things. We should have pictures of our little girl on ultrasound next week.

Fire Station Visit

One of the highlights of our trip was going to visit a fire station. Sean's best friend from high school Tony is a fire fighter in St. Louis. We got to tour the fire station. Included in our tour was... checking out the fire truck, sliding down the pole (from part way up... except Sean slid the whole way down), spraying water from the hose, & trying on "fire Champs" fire suit. The boys had a great time!!! They are still talking about that... Lucas even brought in picture for show and tell at school. Thanks Tony!

Sean's Parents' 40th Anniversary Party

Sean's parents' 40th wedding anniversary is in February. So, while we were there we threw a surprise party to celebrate. We had family from other parts of Missouri come as well as from Georgia (Uncle Jerry and Aunt Janice and a few of their grandkids). The party was held after church at Lynn and Allen's church. Only bummer for them is that they were both sick with bronchitas.

20 Year Reunion

This past spring/summer Sean's graduating class had it's 20 year reunion. He graduated from a small christian school with a graduating class of about 30. While we were back visiting they had another reunion with some of the people he graduated with. Most he had not seen in 20 years. Here is a picture of those there that he graduated with.

Presents

After a crazy Christmas eve (2 trips to the ER) the adults opened presents. However, we forgot to take any pictures of this. One trip was for Charlie and one was to monitor the baby (baby and Becky are fine... just a precaution that the doctor requested due to the symptoms).
Then Christmas morning the kids opened presents. It felt like chaos (at least our boys did) not Charlie... he opened his presents calmly. Then Ethan tried to help Charlie when Ethan was all done opening his presents. Hopefully next Christmas' present opening is a bit more calm.
