This year we decided to have adults open presents the night before because we knew the morning would be crazy with 5 little boys trying to open gifts.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas eve after Ali picked up the Dybdahls (Becky's sister and family) at the airport we met them downtown. We went up in the Space Needle and walked around Seattle Center.

Christmas Part 1

We opened presents from Gramps & Grammy Lynn on Christmas eve, eve because Becky's family was in town for Christmas and didn't want to make them watch the kids open lots of gifts.

Sean was watching Ethan & Micah while Lucas & Becky were gone. This is what Sean found when he walked into the living room... Ethan with Christmas tree lights on.

More Snow!!

On Saturday the 1st we got more snow. Here are a few picture. It snowed more on Sunday then mid morning it started to rain lots and all the snow melted. And there was much flooding in our area.

Snow

On Monday evening we had snow. The boys (especially Lucas) love the snow. It began to snow just before dinner. So, the whole time we were eating dinner he was begging us to go outside. So, even though it was a slight dusting of snow we had to go outside to "play in the snow." The boys keep asking for it to snow. We keep reminding them that the Lord is the one who makes it snow and that they need to pray and ask Him make it snow. As I type the high today is 37 with a low in the upper
20's. They are forcasting snow for tomorrow. It is so cold now it could happen easily. The boys would love it.

Getting the tree

Sorry that sometimes pictures take me forever to post online. We did our traditional day after Thanksgiving purchase of a Christmas tree. We have gone every year of our married life to Fred Meyer to get our tree. So, here it is. This is the first year that the kids (just Lucas & Micah) helped us put up the ornaments on the tree.

Weather Button

After dropping Lucas off at school on the ride home Micah said "I want to push the button." And I asked "what button?" He said "I want to push the button to turn the rain off and push the button to turn the snow on." That is one of my all time favorite things Micah has said.

Becky's 30th Birthday!!!!

Becky turned 30 on Saturday. For her birthday her mom flew up for the weekend. Jody watched the kids on Sunday night so that Sean & Becky could stay downtown at the Camlin. It was only the second night that they have been away from the kids since Lucas was born. That was a treat!

Halloween

On Halloween we went to a family in our church who was hosting one of the cider stands to reach out to neighbors. The kids when trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Lucas had a great time!!! Micah didn't make it to the trick-or-treating part because of a meltdown. Sorry the pictures aren't the best but oh well. Lucas was a doctor, Micah was a cow, and Ethan was a rooster. Everyone loved the rooster costume Ethan wore.
