Bath Boys

Don't they look cute in their robes!

Our Little Chefs

Micah has been asking for a "banana apron & a puffy baker's hat" so, Grammy Lynn made one for him. She also make an apron and chefs hat for Lucas & Ethan. Lucas' has cars on it. Each of the hats has their names on them in the color that matches their apron. Grammy Lynn couldn't find fabric with bananas on it so she sewed on banana buttons which were just as great. Now the boys want to help cook all the time. They turned out super cute. Thanks so much Grammy Lynn!!!

Surgery Update

Lucas got sick with a fever on Saturday (only for 24 hours) so we had to postpone his surgery for Monday. He has to be completely healthy for one week prior to surgery. So, if he stays healthy we will be going in sometime on Monday (3/3).

"I've got some good news & some bad news"

My boys get into more trouble while I am on the phone. A friend called today with a prayer request so, I was trying to listen to her while the boys were doing something. Well, after I got off the phone I walked into the bathroom where they had filled the sink with soap and bubbles and were playing only thing was Lucas got his clothes wet so he took them all off. So, I sent him to his room to get dressed and clean his bed. He then pops his head out of his door 2 minutes later and says "I've got some good news and some bad news" (where did he learn that). The good news was he "made his bed" the bad news he still wasn't dressed. He finally did get dressed but, where did he get that phrase. It was hard to keep a straight face when he said that.

Another Snow Day!!!!!

On Monday we got more snow. What fun!! The kids love it. We got to go "sledding" on cardboard boxes on the hill in the backyard. Ali and her friend Alexa came over and played in the snow with us. Micah was not too happy about taking a family picture. Oh well!!

Underwear Ninga

Last night at dinner Micah excused himself to use the bathroom. When he returned this is how he looked. All he was wearing was his underwear in his head. Then when I told him he need to put his underwear on his bottom. He put another pair on his bottom and said with mom I need some more so he put some on each arm. Then after dinner he told Lucas to join him so Lucas was then running around with underwear in his head also. Oh, the things little boys do that most little girls would never even think of doing.

God kept us safe!!!!

On Sunday morning at around 8:45 after Sean left for church Becky heard a loud pop and some bright flashes of light down the hall. Becky thought that Lucas had knocked over a lamp. When she walked down there was smoke coming out of the water heater. By the time she was able to round up Lucas there were flames coming out of the water. She rounded up the kids (which was the scairest part of the whole thing) and headed out the door with Ethan in his diaper and Lucas in his underwear (we were in the middle of getting ready for the day). She called Sean then 911. Sean made it home before the fire department arrived. And Sean put the fire out all by himself. Then the fire department arrived and got all of the smoke out of the house. They removed the cabnets and water heater for us. Who knows why the fire started. The Lord preserved us and our home. When looking at the fire it should have spread much quicker (it was about 10 minutes until Sean arrived home). We did not lose much just our water heater and some cabnets. When we think if we had all been gone the whole house would have gone down. We can look back and say that we would be okay if the whole thing had gone because it is just stuff and it can be replaced and most importantly the Lord owns it all and can do with it as he wishes. The Lord give and the Lord takes away. And we will bless his name. We are a part of a wonderful church family. We had a friend in the church come over and install an new subfloor and water heater and help put the washer and dryer back all before 5 pm on Sunday. We had other friends was our bedding to remove smoke smell. And another friend bring us dinner. Sean painted the ceiling in that section of the house to get rid of the smell. We aired out our house and now there is minimal smell. All is back to normal. Below are pictures of the mess and the mostly after. We still have to buy and install cabnet but other than that all is done.

Children's Museum

The Children's Museum in Everett is a very fun place for little ones. There is so much for them to do there. The kids were able to play Vet, play cook, "milk a cow", play on an airplane, and so much more. The kids liked it so much we paid $35 so that we could go again anytime over the next year as a family.
