My friend Niki Spangler tagged me a little while ago and I am just now getting around to doing it. Mostly because I have had a hard time thinking of 7 random facts about myself. Sorry that the facts aren't that interesting.

Fact 1:
Sean & I have been married for 8 years on Tuesday (April 29th).

Fact 2:
I have "flown" a plane twice. Two friends from high school got their pilots licences and I flew with each of them and they let me "fly" the plane.
Fact 3:
I have 2 sisters and no brothers. I have 3 boys and 3 nephews and no neices (on both sides). Boys sure are wild.

I have walked on the Great wall of China

I have one son with Autism.

Lucas 2nd Baseball Game

Wow... what a game of t-ball. Some kids use the t others are pitched to, some are older, some are younger, lots of parents on the field, everyone bats every inning. But, they sure do have fun. This is a great introduction to baseball for Lucas.
These are picture of Lucas running the bases. Sorry the pictures are not super clear they are taken from behind a fence.



The back of his uniform even has his name on it. He picked #5 (I think because that's how old he will be on his birthday).

Lots of Snow

Sorry for the delay in posting these picture but, we were having trouble loading them for some reason.
Anyway... last Friday afternoon (that's April 18th)it began to snow and snow and then snow some more. It snowed until we had about 1 foot of snow. That's right about 1 foot of snow on April 18th. Just as the flower are blooming the snow comes and crushes them. Oh well! The side benefit is that the kids had tons of fun playing in the snow with dad on Saturday morning and building a snow fort to throw snow balls at the "bad guys". The bottom picture of the boys was from Friday when the snow was just begining to fall. The snow melted fast. We are really looking forward to a warm long summer (that is our dream anyway)!!!

What's the Weather?

So... one Saturday it snows 5 inches. The next it is 70+ degrees outside (this is an exception to the norm and it is the only warm day in 7 months). Then today Lucas & Micah came running in to my room this afternoon looking like this (see below). So, I asked them "why are you wearing your swimmers?" To which they replied "we are just pretending to swim." Well, I guess in Washington you can only "pretend" to swim in April. We just have 2 1/2 months left until July 4th when you can pull our the summer wear. Come quickly July 4th!!!!

Baseball Begins

We have officially begun sports with the kids. Lucas is the first on to play an orgaized sport. He is playing with a special needs team. He plays with a kid from church who also has special needs. It is great fun because our friend from church is the coach. Micah really wants to play baseball too but doesn't understand that he's not old enough yet. Lucas had his first game on Sunday. No winners or loosers because they don't keep score for t-ball. Hopefully more pictures from his next game on this coming Monday!!! Thier shirts had not yet arrived as of their last game. So hopefully we will get more pics in his full uniform.

Strange Comments

Has anyone else who blogs been getting strange comments. Well, I have been getting them from random "people" that say something like please see here and have you click a link that is supposed to cause problems on your computer. Just wondering. I have been deleting them.

One of the things we love about Ethan

Ethan is a blessing to our family. He loves to be with us. But, he also like to just play by himself every now and then. He was quiet last week and when I wen to check on him this is what he was doing. Just playing with his little people. So, I had to take a picture.

Micah's New Robe

Micah didn't have a robe (both Lucas & Ethan did). So, Grammy Lynn made this one for him. It is yellow (his favorite color). Thanks again Grammy Lynn!!!

Ethan's Puffy Baker's Hat

Grammy Lynn made each of the boys a puffy bakers hat. Well, until Thursday Ethan would not put his on. Then the big brothers convinced him to put his on. We think he looks super cute in his also. Thanks Grammy Lynn!

Snow in March- when will Spring come?

So... on Friday be got snow. Not too much and it was melted by Saturday morning. Then Saturday around 5 pm it started to hail (pea size). Then it started to snow. It snowed about 5 inches (I think we are in what they call in Washington the convergence zone... we get the most rain or snow in the area generally). So, this California girl is wondering when will Spring come. I am ready for 80 degrees (I know that will not come until after the 4th of July). If it wasn't for our wonderful church I would be begging Sean to move us some where warmer. =) Here is a picture of Lucas & Micah in the snow. I didn't get any more pictures because the batteries died and I didn't have any more (I bought a brand of batteries that only lasted for about 5 pictures before the batteries died so we ran out quickly this time). This picture of the boys is from Friday when the snow began to fall.

Our Little Chefs

Micah has been asking for a "banana apron & a puffy baker's hat" so, Grammy Lynn made one for him. She also make an apron and chefs hat for Lucas & Ethan. Lucas' has cars on it. Each of the hats has their names on them in the color that matches their apron. Grammy Lynn couldn't find fabric with bananas on it so she sewed on banana buttons which were just as great. Now the boys want to help cook all the time. They turned out super cute. Thanks so much Grammy Lynn!!!

Good Bye Hernia

Lucas is doing really well. He has some discomfort but, the surgery went very well. It seem like the easy as far as surgery is concerned. We arrived at 6:45 am and left the hospital by 11:30 am. We are so thankful to have Children's hospital. They are amazing!!! Thanks for all of your prayers!!!! They were much appreciated

Surgery Update

Lucas got sick with a fever on Saturday (only for 24 hours) so we had to postpone his surgery for Monday. He has to be completely healthy for one week prior to surgery. So, if he stays healthy we will be going in sometime on Monday (3/3).

Valentines Day!

Julia and Elias came over for a Valentines day "party". The big kids frosted their cookies. Lucas was having a Valentines day party at school so Micah wanted to have one also.
