Pictures of the Baby Room - Finally

I was going to wait until the room was completely done but, the things that are left are just small things. I had a lot of fun putting this room together!!! The things that are left are a changing table pad & letters that spell out her name. I also need to put pictures in the frames once she arrives. I was able to see our old crib and changing table and a few other things on Craigslist so that I could buy this crib and changing table from Craigslist. I also got much of the decor/bedding on clearance at Target. My mom bought the bumper pad for her baby shower gift. I had trouble finding a lamp for her room. I am not fond of the one that I bought but, we needed a floor lamp (there is not enough room a table for a table top lamp). And I had been looking for longer than I wanted to. Not to mention that she could arrive anytime. So here is her room!

Fun stuff about having a girl

These are all just things but, I am looking forward to putting them on our little girl.

These are the two dresses that I am trying to decide between for her to wear on Easter Sunday (yes we are hoping she arrives prior to Easter).

Just a super cute dress I got at the baby shower. I will have to wait a whie to see her in this one as it is a 12 month size.

One of the things I look forward to seeing her wear. This was a shower gift. I don't have to wait long to see her in this one as it is a 0-3 month size.

I really like a good deal. These each cost $2.50 each. Ali got the pink ones for her. I think she has more shoes than I do (they are in different sizes).


This is another deal that I got. This whole outfit cost $5 new at the Children's Place outlet. The hat cost $.99, the dress cost $1.99, and the shirt cost $1.99. I have to wait a while to see her in this one as it is a 12 month size.

Baby Shower & Baby Belly

I had a baby shower last Friday and somehow managed to not take any picture. I got a picture of these cute boots with flowers that were the center piece. Here is also a picture of my baby belly from last Friday at 37 weeks. So only 2 1/2 weeks left until my due date. Hopefully, she is early like her brothers! I am dialated to 1 and 30%. So, who really knows every labor is so different. The doctor said at least my contractions are doing something even if they are irregular. We can't wait to introduce you to our little girl! Perhaps that will be our next post!!!

Garwoods Visit

The Garwoods came up for a wedding. They arrived on Thursday and stayed until Sunday after church. Somehow we manage to only take this one picture. This picture is from our trip up to the outlets on Friday. The kids are watching t.v. at Gymbore outlet. And Hunter (their son) isn't even in the picture.

5 Gathered in my name

So we were riding home from droping off Lucas at school yesterday and listening to "Hide 'em in your heart" cd (Bible verses set to music). Matthew 18:20 "where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name" was playing. In the background I hear Micah saying "M,1, I, 2, C, 3, A, 4, H, 5... so I have 5 gathered in my name. So, it's not the best theology but, it was cute.

Cute Kids and the Snow

That's right we got snow again! For those of you who don't live in the area it isn't the norm to get snow on the 9th of March. We got about 4" yesterday. The boys love playing in the snow so, they had lots of fun. I'm just ready for some warm spring... I guess we have a while to wait.
Oh brief baby update. As of last week she is head down... she could still turn though not likely. We just have about 1 week until my dr. will not stop labor. So, we have between 1-5 weeks to wait. If it is per our norm it is about 3 1/2 weeks away or so. Her room is mostly done. I am searching for some brown curtians then as soon as they are up I will post pictures of here room completed.
